Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information Flix2Watch uses to operate accounts, profiles, social features, moderation, support and site activity.

Account information

Account authentication is handled through Supabase. Flix2Watch uses your account identifier, username, profile information and authentication session so you can sign in and use account-only features. The site does not need to store your password in its public website files.

Public profile and account data

Your username and any profile information you choose to make public can appear on profiles, user search, the leaderboard and other public account surfaces. Public profiles may show recent titles opened, favorites, ratings, role badges and online/offline presence. Private profiles restrict private-profile activity from other users.

Presence and activity

When signed in, the site can record a recent presence timestamp for online/offline status. Opening a title can be recorded once per title on your profile, with later opens updating the same record rather than creating duplicates. Active watch-page time can be aggregated for leaderboard statistics.

Messages and support

Public chat messages are visible to other users. Direct messages are private to participants and are stored by the site backend; they should not be treated as end-to-end encrypted unless the service is specifically upgraded to provide that. Support tickets and reports are available to authorized staff.

Moderation and safety

Flix2Watch stores moderation information such as warnings, chat restrictions, site suspensions, account bans and staff audit records when needed to operate the service and enforce site rules. Account restrictions can be delivered in realtime.

Third-party services

Flix2Watch uses services such as Supabase for backend functionality and TMDB data/artwork for title information. Embedded playback providers are third-party services with their own policies and technical behavior.

Your choices

You can edit supported profile fields, choose profile visibility, remove profile content where controls are provided, and contact Support for account or privacy questions.
